Can I choose myself if my pension will move to the new rules?
You cannot choose this yourself. Your pension moves to the new rules. Your sector or employer has made agreements about this.
Can I choose how my pension is invested?
No, we invest the money in all personal pension pots together. We do this according to our investment policy. You do not need to do anything yourself.
My accrued pension does not move to the new rules. What does this mean for my pension?
This means the following:
- For the pension you accrued up to the transition to the new pension, the current rules continue to apply. This pension does not change.
- From 1 January 2027, you accrue pension under the new rules. This pension goes into your personal pension pot.
