Can I choose myself if my pension will move to the new rules?
You cannot choose this yourself. Your pension moves to the new rules. Your sector or employer has made agreements about this.

Will my pension go up or down every month?
Do you receive a pension? Then you receive the same amount for a full year. At the end of each year, we set the amount for the next year. That amount then stays the same for a whole year, just like now.

Will my pension go up under the new rules?
If we look at the current financial situation, most people with a pension with us will be better off under the new rules. But a lot can still change between now and 1 January 2027, the expected date. Changes in your life, the economy or our financial situation will affect the amount of your pension. Find out when we will be able to tell you more about the amount of your pension

Do I get compensation?
For some groups of people, the new pension is less favourable. With the current rules, they would accrue more pension than under the new pension. They may therefore receive extra money in their personal pension pot. This is called compensation. Compensation is payment for pension accrual you will miss in the future because of the move to the new pension.
Do you no longer accrue pension with us? Then you do not miss future pension accrual. You will not receive compensation.
Are you partly retired and do you still accrue pension? Then check the agreements in your sector or with your employer about compensation in the transition plan.
